Serbco SA promotes a range of Polypropylene Random Co-Polymer (PPR) pipes and fittings from 20mm to 160mm and in pressure classes from 10 to 25 bar. The pipe system has been specifically designed to enable the flow of gasses, chemicals, hot and cold potable or chilled water, completely replacing the use of galvanized and copper pipe, especially in poor or aggressive water conditions.
PPR (Polypropylene Random Co-Polymer) can also be used in:
- Compressed air
- Irrigation
- Vacuum
- Food processing – FDA Certified
- Sea water
- High abrasion applications
- Various chemical applications
PPR is also commonly used for radiator, under-floor heating and cooling systems, as well as being highly popular in the transport industry due to the joints’ resistance to extreme vibration. The PPR pipe system is manufactured from PP-Random type three raw materials from a global supplier to the piping industry. It meets and exceeds the German and European health standards. Serbco SA PPR conforms and exceeds the minimum requirements of ISO (International Standard Organization) and supplies the highest quality Nickle Plated Brass in South Africa.
Serbco SA is service driven and we strive not only to create substantial savings to customers but also make a positive contribution to the environment by making role players aware of the environmental advantages of our product and their contribution by specifying our product. We will assist with design and consult with contractors on site with correct installation procedures in addition to providing training to all staff, free of charge.
